“The administration was amazing. From the time I first set foot in the building I was treated like family. Everything was professional, at the same time. Everything was well organized, but never too strict of stuffy feeling. Sol Maya is a very fun and inviting school.
All of my teachers were beyond wonderful. Everyone was very accommodating and extremely eager to help. They all want to teach you as much as they can and are very perceptive as to what you need to work on. Classes always had variety and were never dull. Somehow conjugating verbs was even made interesting. The cultural activities also gave me the opportunity to meet and get to know other teachers, and everyone at Sol Maya are people I am sad to leave behind”

“The program this week suited our needs perfectly. It was adapted very well to what we wanted: conversation and incidental grammar. Our teachers were excellent. Nolberto was very animated and spoke very slowly. I was able to understand very well. His information was very interesting and his ability to stimulate conversation excellent. Iris made me feel very relaxed and encouraged me by never finishing my words but letting me take the time necessary to think of them over. Our home stay greatly reinforced our language experience. I highly recommend Lupita. She is lively, extroverted with great humour. Her home is clean and comfortable. Lupita is a great asset to your total school environment”

“I really enjoyed this week with you. It was not only the chance to improve my Spanish in a nice way but I also enjoyed talking to you and getting to know you a little bit. I feel that it is so nice but also enriching to have an intercultural but personal exchange and contact in this globalized but mainly economically ruled world. I like the building and especially the place of the school with the marvelous view over San Cristobal. I would recommend you to use the terrace more.
